I had a mixed experience during my stay at Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown. The hotel is beautifully maintained and very conveniently located near main attractions, which I appreciated. However, I encountered significant issues with the air conditioning that made our stay uncomfortable, and the service could be improved based on my interactions with staff.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean and well-maintained, but we faced problems with the air conditioning, leaving it uncomfortably cool during our stay.
Service
6.0
While many staff members were friendly, I did experience some lapses in service, particularly with the concierge not being helpful when we sought specific guidance.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, within walking distance to many Nashville attractions and nightlife, making it convenient for exploring the city.
Dining
7.0
The restaurant offered good food quality and a decent atmosphere, but I found the menu choices limited, particularly during breakfast hours.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were generally well-kept, although I missed having access to some basic amenities due to reduced menu options in the restaurant and a lack of timely housekeeping service.

My stay at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown was a mixed bag. While the location is super convenient for exploring Nashville hot spots and the staff was friendly, I faced several issues that really dampened my experience. The air conditioning in my room was acting up, and the wait for the valet service was incredibly long, which soured my overall impression of the hotel.

Rooms
5.0
I found the room a bit cramped, and the air conditioning barely worked, making it uncomfortable. Plus, I had to deal with missing toilet paper and garbage bags during my stay, which was pretty frustrating.
Service
6.0
On the bright side, the staff tried to be helpful, but even they seemed overwhelmed. I appreciated their friendliness, but the service was not quite up to par with what I expected for a Hilton hotel.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk from key attractions like the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. I really appreciated being close to all the nightlife and cultural spots in Nashville.
Dining
5.0
I had some meals at the hotel and found the restaurant to be pretty good, but I was surprised when I went for 'complementary' coffee and found out it cost $5 a cup. That was a bit of a letdown considering I was expecting something more in line with a complimentary offering.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had its share of maintenance issues, like the elevators and the fitness room. With only one elevator working and the gym's machines being unreliable, I couldn't take full advantage of what the hotel had to offer.

I had a wonderful stay at Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown. The location was fantastic. just a short walk to everything major downtown. My room was spacious and clean, though I did run into some parking issues. which can be quite pricey. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, especially with the attentive staff and vibrant atmosphere.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. there was a particular concierge, Jonothan, who provided great insights into local attractions.
Location

The hotel's proximity to key attractions like the Ryman and the Country Music Hall of Fame was definitely a highlight of my trip. It made sightseeing so easy.
Dining

I had a pretty decent stay at Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown. The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome, which really lifted my experience. However, I did encounter some issues with the thin walls and the valet service, which left me hanging for quite a while when I needed my car. Overall, it's a good spot for its location and amenities, but there were a few hiccups I didn't expect.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and had enough pillows, but I could hear everything next door, which was a bit annoying. Plus, I noticed it could've used a fridge for the price.
Service
9.0
The staff was absolutely very nice; they were attentive and made sure I had a great experience. They even switched my room without any hassle.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a prime spot for exploring Nashville. I was within walking distance of so many sights, which was super convenient.
Dining

I enjoyed a meal at the Meritage Grill, and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was especially a winner with its made-to-order options.
Facilities
6.0
Valet parking was a bit of a mess during my stay, with long waits, but the overall facilities were well-maintained and clean.

6.2/10

The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown boasts a fantastic location that allows easy access to Nashville's vibrant scene, though my experience was marred by cleanliness issues and valet misunderstandings. While some staff members were friendly and helpful, the state of the bathrooms and valet service left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean but had an unpleasant odor, and the bathrooms felt cramped and in need of renovation. The harsh LED lights didn’t help the overall atmosphere.
Service
5.0
While I encountered some exceptionally friendly staff members, the lack of efficient communication, particularly at checkout, was frustrating. Waiting for my valet keys added unnecessary stress to my departure.
Location
8.0
The location is just far enough from the noise of Broadway, yet within easy walking distance to great restaurants and points of interest, making it ideal for sightseeing and socializing.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent, especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a variety of choices. However, the bar service could have been improved, as my experience there was somewhat disappointing.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had some useful facilities, but the parking fees were quite steep, which felt unnecessary given the overall experience. It would be nice to have seen more attention to detail in cleanliness throughout.
